Funding Made Simple!
If the employee is under 25 years old, then the course is government funded. No employer training contribution required.
If the employee is aged 25 or over. Employer contributes just 5% — typically between £225 and £900 depending on the apprenticeship. The rest is funded by the government.
£1,000 employer incentive — applies to both existing employees and new recruits.
Additional Employer Incentives:
Return on Investment: The Under 25’s Opportunity – The greatest opportunity for employers is almost always employees and new recruits aged under 25. These programmes are fully government funded and unlock significant financial benefits — making apprenticeships one of the highest-return investments an employer can make.
“Have you got any employees under 25, or are you recruiting anyone under 25 over the next few months? If so, there could be thousands of pounds available in funding and incentives, alongside fully funded training.”
There are no catches. If a learner leaves or withdraws, the employer does not repay any funding or incentives already received.
