Course Description

The Early Years Practitioner Level 2 programme is designed for individuals starting their career in early years education and childcare. The course develops the foundational knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Learners gain an understanding of child development, safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practice. The programme focuses on supporting planned activities, maintaining safe and stimulating environments, and working effectively as part of a team. Delivered through a blended remote model, learners receive personalised one-to-one support and collaborative peer learning while applying their learning directly within their early years setting.

This programme prepares learners to operate confidently as early years practitioners and progress into further qualifications.
