Course Eligibility

  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Aged 19 or older on or before 31 August 2025
  • Must have a National Insurance Number & Valid ID
  • Unemployed and claiming benefits
  • Must have access to a laptop or computer (mobile phones and tablets are not compatible).
  • Cannot be a student or completed the same qualifications already.
  • Must reside in West Midlands.

Course Description

Develop your knowledge and understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) with an industry accredited Level 3 certificate.

Course Content:

  • Speech, Language & Communication Needs
  • Disabled Children & Young People

This course runs over 20 days, during weekdays only and learners will study online with guidance from a tutor. Learners will need access to the internet and a laptop or desktop computer. 

Applicants for the course must reside in West Midlands.

Our Level 3 Principles of Special Educational Needs (SEN) course is designed to help you develop and extend your overall knowledge to help you progress within this sector. It’s suitable for those seeking a career in childcare, teaching or family support, with a desire to understand more about supporting those with Special Educational Needs.

As part of the course, you’ll complete several units that cover a wide range of behavioural and developmental issues you may encounter when caring for children with SEN and how to support them.

On completion of the course, you’ll receive an industry-recognised Level 3 qualification in Principles of Special Educational Needs.
