Course Eligibility

  • 19+ as of the 31st August 2025
  • Live in London or London Fringe (please see course info for areas included in London Fringe)
  • Have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years (Unless has Refugee status)
  • If Employed working less than 16 hours and Under London Living Wage £27,000
  • If Employed are looking to move into a new role within a Nursery and/or have the option to progress within their current Early Years Setting (This will be checked with Employer). 
  • Committed and have the means to work FULL TIME including school holidays. 
  • Not in any other form of Employment or Training 
  • Does not hold a Level 3 or equivalent in anything relating to Early Years or Paediatric First Aid. 
  • The course is Tutor Led Online via Teams however 2 Days of training are held face-to-face in Dalston Hackney for Paediatric first aid - Learners need to be able to travel to attend this element of the course.

The Early Years Level 3 Bootcamp for residents of GLA (Greater London Authority), is a 12-week, fully remote program designed to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and qualifications needed to excel in early childhood education roles. This flexible, online Bootcamp is ideal for individuals looking to enter the early years sector while maintaining the convenience of remote learning.

Gateway Qualifications is a respected awarding organisation. Their Level 3 Skills Bootcamp for Early Years is designed to help learners develop essential skills for working with young children. This program supports participants in gaining comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in early years education, enabling them to excel in childcare roles, advance in their careers, or pursue further education. 

By completing this bootcamp, learners will be equipped with the expertise and qualifications needed to make a significant impact in early years setting.

As this is an online course, you must have access to the internet and either a laptop, tablet or PC. Unfortunately a smart phone will not suffice.

Lessons and coursework are entirely online, allowing participants to access training from any location and fit the learning schedule around other commitments.

The program includes virtual case studies, role-playing, and simulated scenarios to ensure participants gain hands-on skills for real-world situations.

Course Delivery:

Duration: 12 Weeks (8 Week Learning, Plus 4 Weeks Employment Support)
Location: Online Course – Learn from the comfort of your own home!
Paediatric First Aid Certificate: Learners will be required to complete 2 x days in house training for this section in Dalston, Hackney. Full location details and dates TBC.
Days and Hours: Thursday and Friday (9.30am to 3.30pm)

  • Learners must live directly in Greater London or London Fringe.
