Aged 19+ have lived in the EU for a minimum 3 years Have ID documents and NINO Flexible to work shifts over a 7 day period. Full time & Part Time Positions No experience needed just a can do attitude to employment.

Course Description

This is a 10 day classroom based Level 2 Employability course with Guaranteed job interviews across Oxford. Working in partnership with Premier Inn hotels around the Banbury, Bicester, Westgate & Chipping Norton areas.

 

This will be a 10 day programme to help support the recruitment for Kitchen Team Leaders, Night Team Members, Kitchen Team Members, Receptionist and House Keeping Team Members. The programme will allow participants to gain qualifications and employability skills. We will guarantee an interview for all positions if candidate completes the program of delivery.  If successful, you will be starting a journey of an exciting career within a brilliant business that puts their people first.

Once you have completed this programme, you will gain national accredited qualifications and get chance to update skills and training on your CV to help you stand out to the employer ahead of other applicants.

Units Covered:

Employability – 10-day program with a Hospitality/ Premier Inn sector Learning.

Day 1) Employability – Equality & Diversity, Healthy living, managing self.

Day 2) Plan for Employability – Preparing for interviews, Interview skills, Introduction to progression skills.

Day 3) Interview Planning – Preparation for interviews and Interview Skills. Premier Inn to be introduced into cohort – company history, ‘a day in the life’, Q&A sessions.

Day 4) Employability – Healthy Living, managing yourself, exploring equality & diversity

Day 5) Employability – Applying for a job, Introduction to career progression.

Day 6) Dealing with challenges – Understanding types of challenges, responding positively to challenges, meaning of communication, appropriate methods of communication.

Day 7) Introduction to leadership – Leadership styles, organising, delegation and planning. Employer interaction – Preparation for interviews, tips and support, Premier Inn group preparation.

Day 8) Building relationships – Understanding the importance of customers, Customer confidence and retention, interact effectively with customers, Develop effective relationships.

Day 9) Progress and review – completion of learner plans, preparation for work.

Day 10) – Employer to introduce Premier Inn and the “Day in the Life Off” answer questions and confirm interviews with learners
