Open to employees, business owners and the unemployed looking to get back into a management/supervisory role

Course Description

This dynamic CMI-approved programme is designed to equip you with the essential skills, practical strategies, and confidence needed to lead effectively – whether you’re stepping into your first leadership role, running your own business, or preparing for new opportunities. You’ll build key capabilities in communication, team coordination, and decision-making to help you lead with impact, manage operations efficiently, and inspire those around you.

Wherever you’re starting from, this bootcamp will help you move forward with clarity and purpose.

We’re looking for individuals with a genuine enthusiasm for leadership and management, and a strong commitment to building their skills through this Skills Bootcamp.

Duration:

60 hours over 10 weeks

Runs one day a week, from 9:30am to 4pm, across a 10-week period. The timetable includes regular breaks and a set lunch break to keep you refreshed and focused throughout the day.

Study Modes:

Fully online, group-led training and coaching sessions that incorporate a range of interactive activities to keep learning engaging and practical

Qualifications:

Certification of completion from Fareport Training & The Skills and Business Hub

Who is this course aimed at?:

Are you living in Berkshire and looking for management or leadership training? Whether you’re employed, a business owner, or currently unemployed & looking to get back into a management/supervisory position, this Chartered Management Institute (CMI)-approved Skills Bootcamp is designed to support your move into a supervisory, leadership, or management role.

You’ll gain the essential knowledge and practical skills to lead with confidence, manage teams effectively, and open up new career or business opportunities – whatever your current situation.

Cost:

This course is fully funded by the Department for Education (DfE) via the Skills and Business Hub – providing you meet with the full eligibility criteria and are located in Berkshire, are unemployed & looking to return to a management role.

If you work for a business which has between 1 and 250 employees, 90% of the course cost will be funded by the DfE through The Skills and Business Hub. Your employer will need to fund the remaining 10%. For larger organisations with over 250 employees, employers are expected to contribute 30%, while the DfE via The Skills and Business Hub will fund the other 70%.
