Introduction to Hairdressing! – Classroom Based – Bury

With this fully funded course you could walk away with vital skills that employers are asking for.

The course can offer flexibility to meet the availability and needs of individual learners. It’s a hands-on programme where participants will use a block head to learn basic hairdressing skills such as plaits and twists.

Topics Covered:

• Plaiting and twisting Create two strand twists, fishtail, french and cornrow plaits.
• Styling hair. Use a block head to create an array of hairstyles.
• Preparation for work. Gain knowledge and skills to prepare you for working in the hairdressing industry.
• Work towards goals. Identify your strengths and weaknesses and get help with job searching.

Learning is accredited by VTCT and those who successfully complete the programme will gain the following:

• Level 1 developing yourself
• Level 1 preparation for work
• Entry level 3 working towards goals
• Entry level 3 working as part of a group
• Level 1 plaiting and twisting hair
• Level 1 styling hair

Duration:  Duration 10 x weeks, Mondays only 9.30am – 2.30pm
Daily Times: 9.30am – 2.30pm
