This is a 8 – 10 weeks blended course (self-service learning platform with tutor led wrap around support and 1:1’s) for residents of North East England.
We understand that a good level of English and Maths is important for securing a job, changing career path or continuing your studies into Further or Higher Education.
We’re supporting adults that haven’t yet achieved GCSE English and/or Maths to earn an equivalent Level 2
Functional Skills qualification, providing them with the literacy and numeracy skills they’ll need in most jobs, and
a qualification recognised across the country by employers and education providers.
There is no better time for adults looking to enhance their skills and open doors to new opportunities!

Our online business start-up and self-employment short courses are completely free and can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home. The courses are designed to give you an insight and understanding of business start-up and/or self-employment to provide you with the foundational skills should you wish to take this path now or some time in the future. Key topics and considerations include; Formalities of setting up, Legals and Insurances, Finance, Money and Grants, Opportunities and Risks, Business Planning, Branding, Creating an Identity, Social Media and Marketing.
