• Learning Hours: 560 hours (300 hours of which are supervised)

• Assessment: Continuous assessment through group assignments and hackathons

Breakdown of Weekly Learning Schedule:

1. Ethics In AI, onboarding, intro to HTML, agile behaviours, careers.
2. HTML to CSS, problem-solving.
3. CSS Fonts & measurement units, dealing with distractions, Accountability and Intro do IDE.
4. Introduction to the walkthrough project, project planning and Bootstrap.
5. BoardWalk Games, introduction to Copilot and AI pair programming.
6. Individual flagstone project, presentations & peer reviews, and end of module review.
7. JavaScript Essentials.
8. “Love Math” project, AI pair programming, formative assessment and hackathon preparation.
9. Hackathon, end of module review and introduction to Agile.
10. Python Essentials.
11. Working with database management systems, Python and SQL.
12. Developing with Django.
13. AI pair programming, ideation & project scoping and individual capstone project.
14. SME project code reviews and capstone project.
15. Project peer reviews, pre-submission checks and capstone project.
16. Hackathon and end of Skills Bootcamp review.

Commitment: Please note that whilst this training is open to employed individuals, the course demands a high level of commitment, with students needing to be available Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm for the duration of the course. Therefore it is more suited to unemployed people or those who have flexible working hours and can manage the schedule of the course outside of work.
