Online Level 3 – Special Educational Needs in Early Years Settings – London

 We are excited to welcome you to the Future Kids Bootcamp!

Throughout the course, we will cover key topics that are essential for your growth in this field. Here is a breakdown of the units we will be exploring:

1.     Unit 1:  Special education needs coordinators in early years.   –This course will look over exactly what Special education needs coordinators roles and responsibilities are. You will be accredited a NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award for Special Educational Needs Coordinators in Early Years Settings certificate following successful completion of your report.

2.    Unit 2:  Role of Early Years Practitioner in supporting mental health and wellbeing.– This unit focuses on what the roles are in supporting mental health and wellbeing of children in early years as well as their families.

3.     Unit 3:   Safeguarding and PREVENT strategy in early years including employability skills.  – This unit focuses on what is safeguarding and what PREVENT duty means when working in the early years sector.

4.   Unit 4:   Communication and reporting strategy in early years settings. – This unit focuses on how to communicate with families, especially around safeguarding and ensuring that we have a good relationship with the families that we work with. We will also be looking at how to report incidents/accidents as well as when dealing with ethics.

6.     Unit 5:   Child development from conception to 7 years and promoting children creative and imaginative play experience.   – This unit focuses on the different stages of child development and the different factors that can influence how a child develops and how to support children’s creative and imaginative play experiences through learning about the importance of outdoor and indoor play as well as how we as early years practitioners can participate alongside the children in the early years setting.

You can expect a mix of learning techniques such as theoretical learning, practical activities, and group discussions. The course will equip you with both the knowledge and the hands-on experience you need to succeed in your career.
