This is a remote course. You must have access to a laptop or computer.
You can work on this course at your own pace, as long as the course is completed within the 1 month time frame given.
This qualification is for those who wish to develop their knowledge of the causes and symptoms of dementia. This course will show you how to provide positive care for people with dementia and their families.
How is this qualification structured?
The qualification is made up of four mandatory units:
• Unit 1 Understand equality, diversity and inclusion in dementia care
• Unit 2 The person centred approach to the care and support of individuals with dementia
• Unit 3 Dementia Awareness
• Unit 4 Understand the factors that can influence communication and interaction with individuals who have dementia.
